Did a little food shopping with Mum and Chloe today… Also, cos we were free today - thought we would go places to check out the Halloween gear!

Doesn’t my littl’ babe look french!!!???

Went to our local supermarket with Mum, Chloe and Anais… Saw the Halloween section… Thot Chloe would be scared (cos I was!!! hehe…), but she seemed very enthusiastic to touch everything and anything!

Not that we do Halloween in our household, but thought maybe we would buy a pumpkin and carve a face out of it and put a candle inside it, just to show the kiddies!??! And why waste the insides of the pumpkin - I could mash it up for Chloe!! hehe

Today, Mum and I took Chloe and Anais to a playgroup esp. for under 3s… We had heard about it from a fren and thot it would be good for them to interact with more kiddies!

When we entered the place, we were taken to a room… Oh wow - there was an inflatable section, soft play, toys, books, mats, nursery rhymes music in the background… If I were a child - I think I would be lovin’ it!!!

We were a bit concerned that either of them would be freaked out by the kiddies, as it looked as tho ours were the youngest two! (Most were crawling or walking!) But Chloe and Anais were as good as gold as they played and interacted! Poor Anais was so mentally and physically stimulated, half way thru, she zonked out on a bean bag and didn’t wake up until home time!! hehe

(P.s. The water is cloudy, not cos it’s dirty - it’s cos I put some Oilatum bath solution in it! Also, the the towels are used to cover the girls’ impt bits!! - Just in case you are wondering!)

Drove to Birmingham today with Chloe and Pri, to visit Baby Zain… Relatively smooth journey - with Pri entertaining Chloe in the back seat!

Had a fab time chilling and chatting… Even Chloe managed to find a new ‘boy-fren’! - Hassan!! She just loved playing with him!! In addition, she loved playing with balloons too!

Recently, my littl’ cherub Chloe (or Chlo as I call her for short - as if it could be shortened anymore!!) has been really greedy… Always wanting more milk, more food, more snacks… If I stop, she goes all grumpy! You’re probably thinking - No big deal, why worry - just give her more! You see, that’s the problem!! I DID give her more and she never refused… Then all of a sudden *puke*….

I suppose it’s normal for children to eat lots and want to carry on eating (I remember doing it as a kid, esp at a party - where you try and stuff as much sweets, cake down your throat cos you know your mum would never allow you to eat that much sweet stuff at home, or cos you didn’t wana share!! oh yip, been there done that!) - So I’m not surprised with Chlo really!!

The issue is - how much do I feed her then? I still haven’t managed to quite figure it out cos she’s like a yo-yo… Sometimes, she eats lots, sometimes, she eats little! Oh well, NVM!

Also, recently, I’ve been trying to get Chlo to sleep on her own - without feeding her to sleep, patting her, rocking her etc - after I went a bit slack and entered into bad habit phase when she started teething!… So far, it’s been good at nights… She cries for about 15 mins, then drops off to sleep… Sleeps at about 7:30pm and wakes up at about 7am with no feeds at all during the middle of the night!! Yay!! Can’t say much about the naps tho…. but perservering!

Living your life is like reading many chapters in a book, and those chapters is all about you.

It took me 29 years to know that..

Church, buffet & lovely stroll @ Cardiff Bay, playtime with the kids, visiting a family fren’s house and to top it up, confirmation of our CNY holiday @ Marriott’s Mai Khao Beach Villa… Feel absolutely knackered! But a really nice day… Time to rest now, I think… Wanted to watch my TVB series - but looks as tho that will have to wait!
