Why Would You Wanna Call Your Child That?!?!?

Today, I was trying to find an artist’s name with my sis… She sang the theme song to a Taiwan drama series ‘I do’…. When my sis told me the name, I was like, “Why would you wanna call your child that?!?!?”
Can you guess what it is? Well, anyways, let me get you out of your misery – and tell you the answer… It’s “Fish”!!! *Side note: the name is bizarre, but the song is good!!!*
Hello! Fish?!?!?! How do you even get to that as a name for your beloved child?!?!? Each to their own, I suppose!! I somehow wonder whether the mother/father were eating lots of fish during the pregnancy, or whether they love fish so much that it’s overshadowed their choice!!! Maybe their next child will be called Chips?!?!?
In my lifetime, I’ve heard of many names which make me laugh…. Some I can accept, but others…. Ummm!!! It just makes me wonder, how they get to these names and whether the parents risk doing their child serious psychological damage!
Examples of calling your child include:
Chilli – the parents were obviously hoping for a ‘hot’ child!!!
Fanny – not gonna go there!
Apple – red or green?!?!
Rain – I prefer Sunshine!
Gummy Bear and Coca Cola – were both rejected by Queensland authorities in 2008! I wonder why!
Stallion – Oh my!! A wanna-be?!?!?
Number 16 Bus Shelter – Ummm, I wonder if they conceived there?!?! Then why would you call your child this?!?!
Violence – where’s the logic in this name?!
You never know, instead of calling our daughter-to-be Chloe, I could start the trend by calling it Monday, then the next child Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and so on…!!! 7 children!! Maybe not!!

I always joke around with eddy’s surname – KUNG (in english), JIANG (in mandarin)
son 1 – Kung Fu
son 2 – Kung Po
daughter – Jiang Shi (means vampire)
wohohoho… and… many more in other language/ dialect
i’m a playful wife, haha…

parents only name their kids those names because they don’t know what it means… or think they do but are too retarded to know!
the lastest crazy name i heard a child had at the school i teach is “beckham”. oh my days…!
