Arrival Of Pri-Pri

Tuesday, February 26, 2008 by Daisy in General Blog Posts

Pri arrived yesterday arvo, after a super-duper mission flight!

Checked her into our home… gave her a chilled out tour of AMK.. and then planned the rest of her stay… Following her guide book - we thought we would sort of go thru the list….

So following the list - we went out for dinner and let her try Bak Kut Teh…. She wasn’t gonna try anything too trendy like pig’s intestines/insides…. Don’t blame her really cos, I’m not exactly a fan of them either… They stink!!!!

Then it was a brief tour of Mustafa… Huppy originally said to me that she would be back there more than once cos she’ll love it! And guess what? Pri and I have planned another shopping day at Mustafa!!! A full day!!! hehe

Early night tonight.. cos early wake-up tomorrow!

Why would you want to have peppermint favoured foot cream you might ask. The reason is because it will leave your feet with a tingling and refreshing feel after a good foot massage.

After a long day of work, standing up for a long period of time, all you want is just a good leg/foot massage, and with the peppermint foot cream, you can instantly feel rejuvenated.

If you are thinking of getting some detox foot pads, then you might want to look into a recent product called kinoki foot pads.

You could also try wearing Josef Seibel sandals for women, as they sort of give some foot massage to your feet and keep them cool.

Singapore Airshow 2008

Saturday, February 23, 2008 by Daisy in General Blog Posts

Today, we went to the Singapore Airshow at Changi Exhibition Centre…. Thanks to Uncle for the tickets… Waking up early and cooking ourselves a fry-up breakfast - we were all set!

Although cloudy, it was a lovely hot day.. and the place was heaving! Saw many different planes, helicopters, fighter jets etc… Was really interesting talking to pilots and their crew! Esp. loved the “hurricaine hunters”!

Singapore Airshow 2008

We were all excited to tour the new Airbus 380…. but when we got to that section - it was strictly invitation only… :( Oh nvm…. maybe we’ll be able to fly on it one day?

Closer to the time of the flying display, Uncle had organised buffet lunch for us at an air-conned restaurant - with spectacular views of the displays…. Was fantastic not to be on the ground with all the other people under the beating sun!!! Loved it cos we didn’t have to queue for any tables and walked straight in! We could even pop to the outdoor mezzanine if we wanted to see the flying display outside! Cold drinks, food, dessert, restaurant’s private mezzanine, in the luxury of air-con.. what more could you ask for?!

Yay - no squeezing with the general public!!!

Must say, it was a really great day… partly because it was different and we had the comfort of being able to relax and enjoy the event in style….

Doll Face Persian Cats - Just So Cute & Purrrrrrrrrrfect!

Saturday, February 16, 2008 by Daisy in Daisy's Thoughts, General Blog Posts

When I was younger, I always wanted a cat… I wasn’t really interested in dogs as I had so many pet dogs, it scared me! One bulldog and 12 Yorkshire Terriers… I know - alot eh! As years passed, the idea of a cat drifted out of my mind until…

Recently, I saw a beautiful doll face persian kitten in a shop window… It was so cute and simply spectacular…. This is the cat I wanted when I was younger… White or chocolate coloured hair with blue eyes… A friend of mine had this type of cat and I’ve loved it since I met it… I mean, the soft hair, round eyes, the cuteness, the expressive and beautiful flat face!!! The sweet and gentle nature…

Persian Cats.............. absolutely purrrrrfect!!!

Looking at the different types of cats.. I came across a breed which was also really cute… the Ragaper…. This is the result of crossing the breeds Persian and Ragamuffin! Simply divine!!!

Ragapers - Mixed breed of Persians & Ragamuffins---- such a cute name.... muffin!

Hehe, this is funny… I didn’t know Singapure had its own breed of cats too!!! - The Singapura cats!!! Really huge eyes on a small face!!! Can’t really say I’ve noticed these in the streets of Singa, but I’m sure I’ll start noticing!

Quite scary looking actually!

People always associate cats with spinsters… Ummm!!! Well, maybe I’ll susbstitute children with cats!?!?!? Lots of cats!!! I’m sure my Huppy would love that!? :P But, on a serious note…. Can’t really get my desired cat at the moment, as I simply don’t have the time to care for cats… I mean, grooming it daily, bathing it…. But you never know - if I have the time!!!???
