Fantastic Results But Why Still Not Happy?

Congrats to my bro for his GCSE results!

2A*s, 8As and 3Bs!!!

I was ecstatic – when I heard the results.. However, my bro didnt seem that happy! Why, I asked him? Some of his frens had all A*s or As!!! Well, I asked him – “Did you try your best?” and he replied “Yes, but I thought I did better! Also, Mum may not be happy!” – Mum was really happy actually!!! After telling him he did better than me and some of my sisters – he’s feeling more positive now! (I had 8 As and 5 Bs!)

It made me think – I wonder what my reaction will be when our children go through exams and tell us their results… My parents always made sure we knew the importance of studying and gaining knowledge… and it’s a good thing that my bro has the “drive”… I hope our children too will understand cos thinking about their education can be a headache at times – and we havent even got any yet!!! Well, I’ll think about it when Im preggers!
