Will keep you guys posted, if they invite me to the London office. Meantime, signup here.

Go sign up too…

I knew today was the “Hen surprise party” but what I didnt know were the exact details - like where, what, how and who!!! I was told to pack my swim wear, sportswear and smart clothes!

We were scheduled to leave the house at 8:30am to travel to the secret location… I would be travelling with Aysh and Pri… Mum and my sisters left earlier as they had to pick up some people along the way… Traveling along the motorway towards London, we then took the turning towards Bath.. I didnt really think anything of it… Actually, I wasnt even noticing where we were going - I was just chatting away!!!

For the past few days the weather was really bad.. and today especially, the rain was bucketing it down! But it didnt bother me as I thought we would be indoors!!! We arrived at Bath, and Aysh and Pri ask me - do you know what we’re doing? “Nope, what is there to do in Bath?” and then they told me we were gonna have a spa session in the Cross Bath…. Cool! a relaxing event….

crossbath spa

*Phone rings* It was Sissie - Mum took the wrong turning, so they were running late!

We arrive at the Thermae Bath Spa only to find out that the Cross Bath is an open-air thermal bath with its own changing facilities - ie, it’s outdoors!!!! Umm… this is gonna be fun - its wet, windy and very cold!!!

It was a beautiful setting and if the weather wasnt that bad - it would have been such a great relaxing time… However, it was a hen party - so we were all determined to enjoy ourselves and not let the weather ruin things!! We changed into our swimwear in the outdoor changing rooms!! We then went into the water…. WOW - hot water…. such a great feeling… Think of a hot-tub.. but this was just a bigger version!! We mingled, chatted and chilled out…. Had fun talking and questioning each other about how everyone knew me….

After it was off to eat some lunch… Forgot what the place was called (Oh I rememer know, it’s All Bar One - it was like a bar/restaurant…. All of us sat around this large table and ate great food… We then played some games!!! Quite funny actually!!! One game was called “How well do you know Allan?” I had to answer qns about Hupps (which he had secretly answered prev) - however, if I got the qn wrong I would have to eat one chewing gum!!! The qns were asked, my answers were given - But they didnt match his!!!! So each time the qns were answered wrong - so each time they stuffed a piece of chewing gum in my mouth!!! It was really funny because Hupps answers were so specific and LONG!!! In total I got 3 out of 16!!! but i had more than 16 chewing gums in my mouth cos Hupps had more than one answer to some qns! Oops!

All having fun!!!

Another game was to blindfold me and put bright lipstick on my lips and make me kiss a picture of Hupps. The aim was I had to kiss his lips on the picture! My friends later told me that everyone in the place was watching and cheering me on!!! They feltv embarrassed!!!! Hey - I wasnt cos I couldnt see them!!!

Nice!!!

My sisters bought me some sexy red thongs, made from as little material as possible! and a baby-doll night dress… however, i had to lift it right up so that everyone could see - people from other tables were just laughing!!!

After the fun and games - we went to some pottery shop due to the weather (this was not planned)… We had to pick a piece of pottery and paint it with your own design…

Wow

Pottery

I had real fun painting some little cups with heart handles for Hupps and I…. It would be glazed by the lady and we have to collect it in a weeks time….

After that most of my friends left and Hupps, Kobe and Gav joined us for dinner at a Thai restaurant….

thanks Ansy4 taking the pics!

A great day full of laughs… Loved every minute…. even if it meant chilling out in the rain! Thanks everyone for making my day a memorable one… *mwah*

And Thanks Ansy for taking the pictures!!!

Flowers!

Today, when I arrived home Hupps told me he had a surprise for me… The only clues he gave me were, “You will see it better in the light” and “It’s not hidden”

After scanning my bedroom and a few other rooms, I ended up in the kitchen - something then caught my eye… As I peered out of the kitchen window - I saw these flowers in an olive glass jar perched on this stone slab, amongst the garden landscape… flowers
Ahhhh, how sweet… Although they were hand picked from our garden - It was the thought that I must admire…

Hupps had dug up a small section of these flowers (with its roots) and repotted it in a glass jar… He did this so that I could see them directly in front of me and at eye level. I’m not too sure what these flowers are called but the petals open up in the sunlight and close as the sun sets… They have white petals which are pinkish around the borders and they look like daisies… Anyways - they are lovely…

I love flowers, esp. oriental lilies, longiform lilies, orchids and daisies…. I also love flower markets, where there are so many different flowers and colours!!

Sshhh, but I sometimes buy them for myself to brighten up the room… Don’t you just think it’s great how flowers can make you happy? The smells, the colours? So, for the male readers out there - here are a few tips!!!

1) Be spontaneous
Women may be used to receiving flowers on birthdays, anniversaries and Valentine’s Day. They may even notice the absence of flowers on these occasions. But flowers given for no reason other than “I was thinking of you today” have a huge impact because they are unexpected!

2) Get more flower for your money
Prices of flowers usually peaks on Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day etc, but are a great value during other times of the year. Also prices range drastically for the same type of flower - so try to check out the market and the time of year!

3) Don’t overlook anyone
A bouquet can express a range of feelings - from romantic to friendly to something in-between. So, just because you give flowers to a girl doesn’t neccessarily mean you fancy them!!

4)Try something new
Us women are keenly aware of the multitude of flower varieties available and are eager to see new specimens first-hand. Giving flowers of an unusual hue or an arrangement of mixed flowers demonstrates an awareness of color and an understanding of botany that will not go unnoticed - they will be well impressed!

5) Flowers are never boring
Because of their infinite diversity and unique appeal, flowers can be given time and time again without losing their “specialness”. Each new floral arrangement is a fresh and individual declaration of appreciation - reflecting positively on your imagination and thoughtfulness.

6) Flowers don’t have to mean commitment
Relax guys! Women know when an arrangement simply means that you care! Phew eh!!!

7) Get professional help cos some DIYs are so bad!
Selecting flowers may be a bewildering experience for the uninitiated man. Fortunately help is at hand! Floral designers are experts in the art of expression and can create an affordable and personalised flower arrangement that will match both your sentiments (light or serious) and the woman’s or man’s personality.

A gift of flowers goes a long way! Every woman remembers the last time she got flowers, (well I do!) and so do many men! she’ll treasure your thoughtful gesture forever….
