April 2007

This morning when I woke up, I felt “young”… So I decided to dress how I felt and do my hair to match. I put my hair up in a high ponytail only to be told:

Huppy: Oh, I see something! Don’t move!
Me: What? Quick what is it? (All nervous just in case it was a creepy crawly!)
Huppy: *His fingers going towards my head*
Me: What is it?
Huppy: Its a white hair – and its so long!!! *Pull*

I just couldnt believe it… I rarely have white hairs and that was the only one in my head…. I think it must be cos Im thinking too much? But about what? The wedding(s) maybe.. I dont feel stressed..

Anyways, you’re as young as you feel… so my pony tail went even higher on my head!!! hehehe
What a trendy gal!

I haven’t been reading newspapers in a long time and today over breakfast was flipping the financial section of “The Mail On Sunday” and i saw one of the “shocking” news happening on April’s Fool Day, it is not a joke, neither is it funny.

The title of the article:
Tommorrow WH Smith shuts its 113 years-old pension, effectively slashing the pay of 1,600 workers. Why? Because a scheme that survived 2 world wars is now “too risky”. Staff are scared to speak out. But it is already being called “Sell-out Of The Century”.

Well as per post last October, we saw employers cutting jobs and employees becoming unemployed ovenight, and today you see examples of pension being lifted legally and the employees can do nothing to stop the employers. All these are signs of the new age economy, signs telling members of the public to start thinking about the future and do not think too highly of a well paid job that you might have today. Always think and protect yourself in whatever ways you can.

This post might be offensive to many, but for those who understand the moral of this post, good for you, prepare yourself. We are heading into a new age economy where a lot of things needs to go back to the basics. (The end of Industrial Age.)
