Today Allan had an appointment to have his wisdom teeth out. Previously, he had his LHS upper and lower wisdom teeth out… It was a “crazy” procedure/operation - with pain and swelling which lasted for ages… so this time we were sort of expecting the same!
We bought lots of soup and soft foods in preparation for the dental extraction - which involves slicing the gum and chipping off some bone in order to get to the wisdom tooth (we were told)!! Eeeek!!!
Arriving at our appointment and sitting at the dentists’ chair - my Hupps was told that the extraction could not be done - even though it was the dentist in front of us who told us to come back!!! We had jumped the queue and missed some impt steps!!! Apparently, we were supposed to see a consultant first to do a treatment plan - then do the extraction with the dentist who was telling us all this!! Well, NVM… At least the dentist apologised!!! So appointment with the consultant next week and another wait for the extraction appointment!
We then decided to take our car to a hand wash car place b4 we headed off to Elaine’s house for a pre-arranged morning tea nad biscuit session.
We met up with Jayne and arrived at Elaine’s house. To our astonishment - it wasnt just tea and biscuits - it was a full-on feast… pizza, salad, cheese and crackers, sausages, home-made scones, cakes, crisps, burgers and baps….. We even had the BBQ going!!!
Quite a few people arrived - including Debbie and her 2 older girls and her new baby girl arrival; Lucianne and her girl Sophie and baby boy Adam, even her sister came too…. The time was 11am and the BBQ was going full steam, people talking and chilling out in the sun.. no work… What a life - thoroughly enjoyed it… Thanks Hupps for being in charge of th BBQ!!!
